RADON TESTING
Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer (smoking is first) and is an invisible and odorless, radioactive gas found in the earth formed by the natural breakdown of Uranium.
Radon percolates up through the soil under most homes and enters through gaps, cracks, sump crocks and other openings. Because of our area’s sand & gravel subsoil, about 50% of area homes have a radon level at or above EPA’s recommended action level.
To protect you and your family, we offer radon testing with results in as little as 48 hours. Any home with elevated readings can be corrected with a mitigation system; however, to remain unbiased, we have elected to only test for radon. If elevated levels are found, we can provide you with a list of local mitigators.
